Project ASK: The Amer Sports Case Study
Amer Sports is one of the premier brands for sporting goods with responsibility for marketing top names such as Salomon, Wilson and Peak Performance, to name but a few. Covering 34 countries, Amer Sports embodies innovation, determination to succeed and fair play while championing team spirit. It has a real commitment to its staff, from the onboarding of new employees to the retention of top performers.
To support this, Amer Sports aimed to launch a learning portal which it hoped would empower its managers to help staff in their continued development, creating a knowledge-sharing community in the process. CrossKnowledge was chosen to help with this ambitious project, due to their innovative approach and new and creative solutions that can adapt to the organization’s evolving needs. This was Project ASK, which was delivered successfully with the assistance of the expertise offered by CrossKnowledge.
CrossKnowledge played a fundamental part in the process, providing Amer Sports with hands-on support every step of the way. The project began by identifying the core needs before moving on to develop a long-term strategy which repositioned learning and development as a primary need, utilizing workshops and a steering committee to achieve its goals.
Project ASK has been an enormous success since its launch, with a far greater number of users than expected. Content offerings continue to expand and the flexible and scalable structure means that there is the technical capability to support other business units as they are added to the platform.
